2014 Fukubukuro Part II (still editing)

This is part 2 of fukubukuro!
This entry is a lot later than I anticipated. The Bodyline lucky packs went off the radar for more than 40 days. I was also prepping for 2 conventions which were back to back. No rest for me. In about 2 weeks I will be at another convention so I need to kick it into high gear!

Liz Lisa

I knew what I was getting for this lucky pack so I just had to try on the clothes. I was really disappointed when most of the clothes did not look or fit nicely. It was just very disappointing. They all looked super pretty but if it's not flattering. I do however love the suitcase. It's super cute!!

Soooo precious

It has a locking mech and the straps are real and not just for show. I love it! I love how all the clothes fit into it.
TADA OPENED!
It was so nicely wrapped and packaged! The following are pictures of the clothes. I received a camisole, a dress, a coat, a blanket, a ruffle top, 2 skirts (one was a skort actually) and 2 cardigans.

SKORT
Cute lace

I really love this but sigh!

I forgot to include a picture of just the blanket. I actually used it as the back drop for all these pictures. The tags are still on each piece of clothing. I generally wear size S and M's (US standard) and most of these made me look frumpy. I for one do not want to look like a sausage

Conclusion: I will probably not do this again next year. I might just wait for a Yahoo Auctions for just the suitcase. This was also quite pricey! I should have known Liz Lisa clothes would not fit me haha!

Bodyline Cosplay Lucky Pack
UGH NOPE!
Never again! The cosplay pack was random. I got clothes from size child to 3XL. Basically nothing fit! It was just so random too. I received 3 skirts, 1 bag, 1 shirt, a black petticoat and a Prince of Tennis cosplay.

Unopened state!

This was actually something I really liked, but unfortunately it was pretty much child size.

School uniform skirt
Um yeah I don't know
So blue.
Missing a button hole!
Prince of Tennis rival team cosplay

This stuff is not my taste.

Bodyline Lolita Lucky Pack
The lolita pack actually allowed you to choose the size you would like. Lucky for me I did not get a bunch of sleeves. I did however get the following.

TARTAN
Apparently a lot of people received this.
It came with a detachable bow. You can stick it on the waist line. It's full on shirring so I'm sure it can fit over a size M.

Honestly this dress is not that bad. It just does not feel age appropriate for me. If I was a lot younger this would make a cute princess dress. This also comes with a detachable bow.

So floral

Matching headdress
RED! RED! Where do I start with this dress? It's a long sleeved OP. The sleeves are not detachable. I could have gotten something far worse. On the plus side it comes with a matching head dress. The white lace on the dress are slightly stained pink.

Did not even take off plastic wrap
This tote is cute. I am not a sweet person so I can not work with this. Maybe someone else can!

In total I received 3 dresses, a tote and another black petticoat.

Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN! Bodyline is really just getting rid of old stock so I rather not take another risk!

I am not keeping any of these clothes.
All of these items will be up for sale at my store Ebbi Time Goods very soon or after April 25th. Zenkaikon is coming soon!
I also need to blog about Katsucon and Anime Boston!

AnimeNext 2013

I stopped blogging for 2 months because I was so busy prepping for AnimeNext. After the convention I became super absorbed in Animal Crossing New Leaf. This game is bringing out the dormant beast in me. I'm possibly more glued to it than Wild World, which I dedicated about 3 years to.

SO.... AnimeNext 2013...was about a month ago actually. I got a table in the Artist Alley to sell art and stuff. I was so stressed the month prior since the only times I could work on my art was after work. I pretty much stayed up till 2am every night to draw or make some something.

I had soooo much fun even though I pretty much sat through all of it. My friends really helped me out A LOT! I also got to meet some really cool artists.

This was my table.
Day 1, I was Chitanda from Hyouka. Day 2, I was moe Homura. Day 3, I was a maid.
Looking at this picture now my table looks kind of messy. I was making those Vocaloid key chains throughout the day. This was Saturday.

The following are the pictures I managed to take. I wish I took more though.

Lumpy Space Princess
oh my globbb. LSP

HOME STUCKKKKKKK

AHHHHH so cool!
I didn't realize the Kanaya and Grim Rose were also Rose God Tier and Jade the next day. Oops...

Spirited Away and Totoro

 Really cute....

 SAILORMOON
I thought Helios was the cutest anime boy in the world when I was a kid.

Madoka Cosplay

Godoka

Persona 4

I made a gender bent button of You so it was nice seeing a cosplay of it.
There were a bunch of P4 cosplayers. I managed to snag only a few pics.

How cool is this?! Roshi and Ox King
IROH!!!
Dante (DMC 3)
Hanji from SnK.
I think there were about a handful of Kyojin cosplayers. There were probably a lot at AnimeExpo.

Flynn Rider
Yoko Genderbent (Gurren Lagann)

Last Picture

I did get a few chances to walk around. I walked by the BTSSB booth and snapped this group pic. Well actually someone else was taking a picture I just snapped one on the fly. I was thisssss close to Isobe.

I would definitely try to get a table again next year. Since New York Comic Con did not work out I guess next year I'll try for more possibly even Anime Expo. Dx
