Vassen Dori Violet Circle Lens Review

I recently purchased a pair of Violet Vassen Dori Lens from Pinky Paradise.

For one of the days at Comic Con I want to cosplay Chitanda from the anime Hyouka.
Pinky Paradise had a 30% off sale on this specific lens series and so I thought I'd test these babies out.

I had several pairs of circle lenses before but they were mainly GEO's. From my past experience the GEO Nudy series has worked best with my super dark brown eyes.

Overall Thoughts:

Comfort ★★★☆☆

 I do not know how people can wear anything larger than 14.5 mm. I had trouble putting these on at first because of the circumference. (Maybe my eyes are small?) They were comfortable after a while.

Color ★☆☆☆☆

These lenses were barely opaque without flash. Sometimes they look more blue instead of violet. 

Looks ★★★☆☆

I think these lenses are super pretty but once again not opaque enough.The flowery shape is a nice touch but not visible for me.

Enlargement ★★★★★

HUGE! Seemed like it ate most of the whites in my eyes. 5/5 definitely.


Personally I think they would look better on lighter colored eyes. If you want something bright and shiny this is not for you.

I guess I will stick with this look and feel for a while. I used to have a wordpress blog but that disappeared.

Blog Name Origin/Creation

Ebi = shrimp
Ebbilin = alternate version of  Evelyn
Ebbing = something to do with waves receding.....
Ebbi Tan = combining ebi and tan but adding the extra b to include my name.
